Phaeros is very pleased to announce that the Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) has selected Phaeros to supply the new Port Management System for the port of Melbourne, Australia. 

Phaeros will be delivering its applications “Harbour View” and “BillSys” for the management of the port operations.  The Port of Melbourne is the largest container port in Australia, handling around 2.25 million containers last financial year, together with motor vehicles and other bulk and general cargo.

The Harbour View application is a system that is used for various purposes ranging from vessel call announcements and approvals, vessel service requests, real time progress tracking of vessel in the port through an interface with the radar system, information about dangerous goods on board of vessels and much more.   By interacting with the BillSys application, it is able to also provide invoicing for the activities and services relating to vessel calls.
